Tracking On-Site Service Requests More Efficiently

I’m currently using Monday.com to manage on-site service requests and inspections for a roofing business. I’ve set up a board with location details, contact info, and project status, but I’m looking for better ways to:

Automatically assign reps based on location

Send reminders for upcoming inspections

Track follow-up tasks after the job is completed

Has anyone here used Monday to manage similar field service workflows? Any recommended templates or automation tricks?

Interesting use case! When using the Location Column in monday, you can’t really filter on specific aspects of an address, such as city or state. Which could be helpful when you want to automatically assign items based on the city/state to the correct rep.

That’s why we’ve built Location Toolkit in the monday.com marketplace. The app allows you to split the Location column into separate fields such as extract the city out of it and copy it to a separate column, which would allow you to automatically assign the correct rep.
