I know we’ve all experienced it, the need for a customer to pay by invoice. With the marketplace this doesn’t work as we can’t set a plan!
Ideal solution:
monday.com implements invoice billing for apps, including cotermination so they end in line with their monday.com invoices, and unified invoicing so customers can get all of their apps on the same invoice as their monday.com service.
Less ideal solution:
Allow developers to arbitrarily set a plan for an account so if we bill by invoice, we can at least make the app work right. Integration apps are easy since we just need to override in the backend - we can do it today. But UI apps will always experience calls to action that block usage and have to be dismissed (for seat based apps in particular). This also probably runs afoul of the planned revenue sharing model - so the ideal solution is probably necessary.
While I know this request is out there and I think the team plans on it, I haven’t seen a formal feature request for it.
