Tools such as MailChimp handle opt outs from marketing mails so we don’t send to people that have asked not to be mailed. The Mass Mail feature is great, but dangerous. If we don’t provide an option to unsubscribe from marketing mail and ensure we adhere to these requests, we could find ourselves in trouble from a legal point of view due to GDPR.
While I understand we can build a custom workaround for this issue, it would be a far from bullet proof solution. It would make a lot of sense for this to be included along with the Mass Mail feature.
I couldn’t agree more! I have had deals fallthrough do to this feature not being available.
