I’ve seen similar discussions looking for the ability to have updates (comments) synced between items on connected boards. As a simplified request (at least I think it’s simpler lol), I’m wondering if the popup card for the connected item could have the Updates element included.
For our example, we have our main Project Portfolio and then our Tech team has their own portfolio that they use as a high level project update space. The Tech portfolio includes their own smaller projects as well as organization/strategic level projects from our main Project Portfolio. We have the latter items connected between both boards. It would be convenient for their team to click the connected board item from their Tech portfolio and provide/view updates on the main Project Portfolio via that popup card (without having to navigate to different boards & workspaces).
Adaptation from their team is on the lower end as they do not want to navigate & provide updates on two portfolios in addition to the project boards & assigned items. We’ve explored the use of a dashboard and linking of the two portfolios, but the views/filtering options are not ideal for their team.
