Use a single set of statuses for items and subitems

It would be useful if the statuses for items and the subitems are a single set per board. Now you have to keep them in sync manually.

It could even be better by adding the option to create sets of statuses and pick one for a board, to have a common set of statuses in use across an organization.

Sidenote: let us write our own tags for the messages on these boards.

I’m not sure if this is exactly what @robopzet meant, but what I’m looking for is a single column that can roll-up status for subitems (as in your demonstration) and also be used for items that do not have subitems.

In your example, it seems that you would not be able to use the “Primary Status Column” for Item 2 (which does not have an subitems).

As a result, we had to add a second Status column to our boards for items that don’t have subitems. And having two Status columns can create confusion.

Any tips?
