WorkCanvas has a lot of intriguing features. I think it’s a nonstarter, however, if we have to opt in every member that we currently have on WorkOS. I can’t see any use cases for some of our departments and therefore don’t need to have them on WorkCanvas (especially not at first).
Options for smaller teams / groups, as for other Monday.com products, within our account would be great. Thanks!
I would be also interested for a smaller team since we have to use Miro in some parts due to other reasons i would be happy to use this for some smaller teams that would be more occasional users and would like the integration with Monday boards
WorkCanvas does have great options for smaller teams! Have you checked our the basic version? The basic version is free and great solution for smaller groups who may not need as many capabilities.
see the value in the work canvas, but its licensing model doesn’t fit our team’s needs. We’re willing to pay for 5 or 10 members on our premium plan, but not for those who won’t use it, especially when platforms like Miro offer more flexibility.
Competing with giants like Miro seems challenging at your price point. A more adaptable licensing model, allowing teams to select the work canvas for specific members, could be a game-changer.
Take my situation you could be getting 150 usd a month rather than zero.
In contrast we pay for 8 team members on miro for 20 USD a month and have unlimited guests.
What I like about the Monday concept (although unless I upgrade I cannot test it) is the deep integration with Monday.
For that reason it would be great for documentation. Workflow planning and sprint planning on the dev team but as we grow and we need to use miro due to external team connections and established processes I would be not willing to commit to 20, 25, 30 workcanvas licences as the product would grow.
I decided to give you a longer reply as I think that you can do well with this but the pricing model should be aligned to you other products like 3, 5, 10 users at a time. Not all or nothing.
Thanks for the reply. Unless I’m missing something, it looks like we can’t use the templates that would connect to our Monday account at that level.
Also, another reply from Guy let me know that 25 is the minimum team on WorkCanvas. I can see five or 10 people in our company making use of it, but unfortunately I don’t see any time where we’d have 25.
@GuyWorkCanvas I am also getting the Canvas is not available for your account yet, but will be coming soon! pop up. Could you send me a message to help get me set up?
We’re on an Enterprise plan and our account houses multiple departments and subteams of the company. The Marketing Operations team would benefit greatly from using WorkCanvas, but the team is small with only 5-10 members. The Pro plan pricing says $10.90 seat/month and I would assume we could choose which team (or seats) would have access to this feature, then expand to more teams if necessary.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but from the responses below, it seems as though we would have to pay for 25 seats minimum on our Enterprise account even if only one team will be using the features? I could not find the response from Guy confirming this detail, or any information about it on the monday page or WorkCanvas website.
I attempted to sign up so I could trial the features, but am also receiving the message that it isn’t available for our account yet.
Hi Everyone! These are all great questions and feedback for our WorkCanvas team, Guy has been in touch with many of you and if you still have more questions, we are here!
You also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about WorkCanvas from Guy and Noam the heads of monday WorkCanvas tomorrow on zoom! It will be a great session about different use cases and features of WorkCanvas…
Just following up and wanted to see if you also checked out the basic version for your team to start testing out the features (its free!). Secondly, in order to add WorkCanvas to your enterprise account you need to be an admin of you account. I will pass along this feedback and get clarity from @GuyWorkCanvas.
I’m seeing a message that “Canvas is not available for your account yet, but will be coming soon!” Any idea what the timeline on this would be? Would love to try this out on an upcoming team brainstorming meeting.
