A new chart type is born - Stacked Bar!

We have just released this new chart type to the board views and dashboards!

What is a stacked bar?
It’s a chart that uses bars to show comparisons between categories of data with the ability to break down and compare parts of a whole.

What can I do with it?
good question!

  1. Do you want to track your team iteration progress? to view it by the task estimations with a status breakdown?

  2. Do you want to analyze your sales team results? See the sales results by month and breakdown by sales rep?

  3. Do you want to create a breakdown summary of your product users by month and by status?

Ok, how can I do it?
Just choose “stacked bar” in the chart type dropdown, and the column you want to stack by in the new setting dropdown (as in the video).

More information:

  • It’s open to everyone
  • Currently, it’s supported for single board selection in the dashboard.

We would be happy to hear your feedback and suggestions!
Enjoy!

A post was split to a new topic: Grouping of charts by days

This is exactly what I was looking for but I have a question related to it.

I was trying to create a stacked bar with the item names as the X-axis, status as the stacking, and days spent in the status as the Y-axis. At this point, count is the only Y axis option. Is this a possibility here or do people have alternate solutions for displaying the data.
