We are looking for a better solution for our emails in CRM.
First, we were just told that when a rep leaves the company and we cancel the gmail, all of the emails they wrote during their years with the company will no longer be accessible and/or can you SEE in the CRM database. WTH? This is crazy to me. In addition, if we go away from Gmail and get outlook, the same result, ALL our information will be GONE!!! How is that even possible to call this a CRM?
Second, if I sync with Gmail, I cannot mark an email to sync in the CRM, so that means all my confidential information as a manager may sync into the CRM.
When we had Salesforce, we had an add on and when we were in Gmail, we simply clicked the email that should be synced, not Monday.com scanning and adding emails from Gmail to Monday.com.
Does anyone else have this issue and is this for real?
I’m also dealing with this issue. Losing all past emails when a rep leaves or switching from Gmail to Outlook is frustrating. Plus, the inability to selectively sync emails in is a big problem for managing confidential information. Has anyone found a good solution?
You can select to only sync emails which have a specific monday Email in BCC (this would selectively only sync those emails).
Also I am not quite certain I understand the issue. To my understanding if your employee leaves, there still is his Mailbox in Outlook or Gmail active.
Hence you wouldn’t lose those Mails as long as you leave the Inbox active.
But yes - once you switch from Gmail to Outlook or vice versa, all emails would be lost I believe .

Sachin is right i have the same thoughts as his But i only know of Zapier cant say much about make.
