It seems the activity log records/audits all actions taken by all users. I propose adding a function to allow administrators (or owners) to “rollback” activity to a specific point in time. This would cover cases of errant or malicious mass changes. The Activity log seems to already contain everything necessary to perform the rollback… what was changed, old value, new value, etc.
Hello @ITBill .,
If you’re open to the apps, the Board Email Reports app exactly addresses your request.
There are reports on a board and item level. Board level reports include:
- New and updated tasks
- Status updates
- Budget, Costs, Revenue changes
- Timeline and deadline overdue
- Time Tracking changes
When you set up an automated report, for example, on Number column changes, you will get a summary of changes with a detailed xls-report as an attachment:
It helps you see the key project changes over the time instead of digging through the activity log to consolidate those changes.
The best part is that you don’t need your stakeholders as guests . Just add their emails into the automation rule.
You can try out the app for free and check if it works for you.
