Adding a find feature when editing a Doc

Dear Monday.com Team,

I’d like to request the addition of a “Find” feature for Monday.com Docs. Currently, searching within a document for specific words or phrases requires manual scanning, which can be time-consuming—especially for longer documents. Integrating a search function within the Docs editor would significantly improve the user experience and efficiency.

Suggested Feature Overview:

  • Functionality: A “Find” feature, accessible via a shortcut (e.g., Ctrl + F or Cmd + F) or through a search icon in the editor.
  • Use Case: Users can search for keywords, phrases, or sections within a Doc quickly, allowing for faster navigation, error-checking, and editing.

Benefits of the Feature:

  • Efficiency: Reduces time spent manually scanning through text, especially in long documentation.
  • Enhanced Editing: Makes it easier to locate and edit specific content without losing focus.
  • Improved User Experience: Aligns with expectations from other document editors that have similar functionality.

This feature would be a valuable addition, helping us streamline workflows and improve document management within Monday.com.

Thank you for considering this suggestion, and I look forward to seeing more productivity-enhancing features in Monday.com.

Kind regards,
Devin Clayborn
