Description
Forgive me if this has already been suggested (I haven’t found it), but the idea would be to allow additional groups under the “Date View” of My Work to represent additional horizons of time (e.g., Next Month, Next Year) such as exists when grouping items by due date in a dashboard (the problem with dashboards is they’ve proven unable to handle a mix of timeline and date columns in subitems).
Additionally, it seems that with respect to timeline columns, items in the “Later” group are sorted based on the beginning date rather than the end date deadline; it would incredibly helpful to be able to configure My Work to sort timeline due dates based on the due date (second date) rather than the start date (first date).
What are you trying to achieve
As it is, when I have dozens of future tasks due further than two weeks out, which I need to prioritize, I have to skim past all of the many tasks that are actually due much further in the future to find the ones that are actually due soonest after next week.
In short, I’m just trying to get a clearer picture of all of the items and subitems assigned to me that are due at various horizons in the future, in strict order of their due date.
