Allow weekend days but select if included/excluded from calculations

Would love a way to include weekends in calendar view but have the ability to exclude them from duration and dependencies as needed. Currently you only have the ability to include weekends if they are included in calculations. We have several releases that occur on weekends that we would like to track, however weekends are not a regular working day. We’d like to see them on the calendar view but not include them in formulas, dependencies, duration, etc.
