I am using Auto Numbering from a Form to a Main Table.
If I set different groups on the main table and use an automation to move the line items to various groups the numbering changes.
Example
New Group has 1-5
Open Group has nothing
If I take item 4 from New Group and move it to Open Group it changes the line number to 1.
What I want is for the automation to move it to Open Group but keep the number 4 so that we can track via the number from group to group till it hits Completed.
Is there an easy way to keep the number on the line the same as it moves from group to group?
