Hi everyone,
I’m looking for help automating a workflow on my Activities board. Here’s how it’s currently set up:
- Columns:
- Subject
- Contact (Connect Boards column)
- Follow-Up Date (Date column) – connected to Follow-Up Status using Deadline Mode
- Follow-Up Status (Status column)
- Status options: Due, Overdue, Not Due Yet
Goal:
I want the Follow-Up Status to automatically update based on the Follow-Up Date. For example:
- If the Follow-Up Date is today → Status = Due
- If the Follow-Up Date is in the past → Status = Overdue
- If the Follow-Up Date is in the future → Status = Not Due Yet
Current Setup:
I have Deadline Mode enabled for the Follow-Up Date and Follow-Up Status, but I still need to update the status manually whenever I change the date.
Question:
Is there a way to set this up so that the Follow-Up Status automatically updates whenever the Follow-Up Date changes?
Any suggestions or automation tips would be greatly appreciated!
