I am trying to set up an automation that will update the status of a task in my board based on a specific date. I have a column that tracks the due date of tasks, and I had like the status to change automatically when that due date is reached.
I have explored the automation options available, but I’m not sure if I am missing something or if it’s just not possible with the current options. I want to make the status switch from “In Progress” to “Completed” when the due date arrives, but I am not sure how to trigger this in a way that doesn’t require manual intervention.

Could anyone guide me about this? I’ve tried setting up a simple “when date arrives, change status” automation, but it seems like it doesn’t quite work the way I expected. Also, if there are any potential limitations I should be aware of when automating based on date, that would be really helpful to know as well.
