Automating Task columns

Hello, I am having some issues with data automations. I am developing a board containing a list of tasks for events in my organization. An event has multiple tasks, and each task contains the same due date (the date of the event). In the screenshot below, the “Event” column is May 31, as that is the placeholder due date of the event. Since all tasks will have this due date, I want the event column to automatically update to reflect the value of May 31 as I add more tasks.
