Automation fails when Gmail account is changed

I created an automation to send an email from my GMail account when there is a status change. Worked great! BUT now we need to change the GMail account linked to the automation - we did that but the automation no longer works. Anyone had this issue and if so, what is the solution?

We had a similar issue but with an outlook email. The solution that worked for us was to recreate the automation from scratch.

What worked for me was reauthorizing the new account to make sure it had all the right permissions. Sometimes just linking it isn’t enough, and you need to go through the steps again.

Also, double-checking the API settings to make sure everything matches the old account can help. If that still doesn’t fix it, recreating the automation from scratch usually does the trick.
