Our company relies on End-of-Day (EOD) reports to keep managers informed about daily progress. Currently, generating these reports manually is time-consuming and prone to errors. Here’s a solution to automate the process using Monday.com:

  1. Centralize Completed Tasks
    Configure the system to automatically move all tasks marked as “Done” to a designated “Completed Tasks” group. This ensures a centralized, real-time collection of daily accomplishments.
  2. Generate a Consolidated Report
    At the end of the day, Monday.com compiles the completed tasks into a single, organized summary. This eliminates redundant emails and keeps everything concise and easy to review.
  3. Send Automated EOD Emails
    With an automation rule, the platform can send a single email summarizing the day’s completed tasks to each manager, ensuring they have the information they need without unnecessary clutter.

After discussing this with Monday.com this is not an option. It would be amazing if something like this was created. A way to send a generalized report of all tasks completed to an email.

Love this idea. I’d also add that it would be helpful to have an option to pull the contents from this column or latest update from a human for items that have been updated in the last time period.

In my use case, I’m looking to automate a weekly status that gets sent to our leaders. Would love such functionality.
