Subject says it all… basically what I’m trying to do is create a duplicate item in another board when a status is set to something. I figured I could try to chain a few automations together to do this, but no such luck.
Any ideas?

We don’t hve exactly what you’re looking for just yet but you could use this automation:
You can set the parameters for the item creation but it won’t duplicate the original item.
The other option would be this one:
meaning you have the duplicated item already in the 2nd board but not on a status change.
Would either of those work for you?
I’m working with this automation right now also, @Julia-monday.com. But I have a slight variation I want to propose for consideration. I want the trigger to be adding a Tag of my choosing, instead of the Status change trigger.
My use case is a board full of pulses that the team is working, but the board owner wants one pulse to show up on a super high level board as a representative of the project. I want the board owner to add the tag #DisplayBoard to a pulse in their project and have that pulse get copied to the high level board.

I’m not sure on whether tags will be a parameter we’ll add in for triggering of an automation.

I am also in a position where automatically copying an item would be useful. I am using a form to feed a ticketing queue board and when a certain dropdown is indicated it dictates that additional steps are needed and I want to copy that ticket into another group for further attention.
