Please implement an automation:

When all subitems of an item status changes to Done and ONLY if person assigned to item is a specific person then notify person assigned to item.

This needs to work when there are many items and subitems and assigned persons within a group and many groups on the board.

The workaround here is using this automation :

And then using an automation “when status changes to done and only if assignee is x, do y”.

You use 2 automations, but achieve exactly what you are looking to do.
