Hi there!
I have a task item that has a couple of tasks that are all in its dependancies column.
I want to do an automation that when all the item’s dependancies are DONE the item will also be set to done automaticallyy. I couldn’t find the right automation for that, I found a similar one for subitems but it doesn’t apply to dependancies.
can it be done?

Hi @assafeitan - while there is an automation that will do something similar, I believe this is not quite what you are looking for. This is not accumulative and will trigger a change to all dependent items.

Hello @assafeitan! Wondering if you can kindly share more about your Dependencies setup? You mention that you “have a task item that has a couple of tasks that are all in its dependancies column”. Can you kindly share how you set this up, to have multiple tasks in the Dependent On column? I can only seem to add one task to this column. Which doesn’t really make sense… as a task could be (and often is!) dependent on more than one other task. I haven’t figured out how to do this myself. Thank you.

it should let you choose multiple tasks in the dependent column.
Did you add the dependent column that they offer when clicking on the " + " button of a new column ?
I"l add a picture of how it should look like.
As you can see you can mark the relevant tasks that you want to choose as dependent to the task you are on - by clicking on the box of each task.
