It would be incredibly helpful if an automation recipe could include an option for “Don’t notify the user who made the change.”
We have automations that notify everyone on an Item when something changes (deadline, person, etc.). But, the person who made the change doesn’t need a notification that they made a change!
Our notifications get overwhelmed with these, especially when they are created by an automation that the user triggered to create a bunch of new Items. (Example: Changing the status to “call” triggers an automation that creates 23 subtasks. The user then gets 23 notifications!)

Elimination of unnecessary notifications
