Board, Dashboards queries

Hi all,
I have a few queries which are urgent to me.

  1. If someone has Member access but i want them to be added to some boards only as a viewer- i don’t want them to make any changes whatsoever, in the board. Is this possible?

  2. In the table widget in dashboards, the updates are being made live, right?
    If i subscribe Members to my dashboards but don’t want them to edit the table, is that a possibility?

Hey Allen,

  1. At this point, user type will apply across all boards - i.e. if you invite someone in your account as a viewer, they have view-only access to all main boards and those they’re invited to. Whilst you can set the board to view-only this will also apply to all members invited to the board.

  2. Similar to point one, depending on the user-type, the member will be able to view or edit the dashboard. The permissions set in the boards are inherited by the dashboard of (i.e. view-only board permission, this will be set for the board when it’s connected to the dashboard too).
