Is it possible to set the timeline start and end date values froma formula? I am sync’ing from JIRA and I want to utilize the Timeline column so I can have a clear Gantt chart view of our work. I cannot seem to figure this out.

I am afraid it isn’t currently possible to set the timeline based on formula value. I’d encourage you to explore our apps marketplace for any third party tools that can accomplish this - one that might be relevant is general caster
