Hi! I used to be able to save my responses from the Form Response Viewer as PDF’s. This was super helpful and helped save a ton of time. Unfortunately, I was told that this feature was no longer supported. Now when I click on Save as PDF if just brings up the print menu. It would be super helpful to have this feature back. Thanks!
Hey Katherine,
Hm, I am still able to save forms as PDFs via the form response viewer. Can you let me know where you heard this information? From my investigation I am unable to identify confirmation that the feature’s been deprecated. I will continue investigating!
Hi @KGilreath ,
To save your responses as PDFs you can use the DocExport PDF Generator app. It allows you to design your PDF the way you want by using Word templates. The app supports mirror and formula columns.
You can fully automate the process of generating the PDF and sending it via email. There is a similar use case described in this video:
Losing the “Save as PDF” option from the Form Response Viewer has definitely disrupted workflows for many.
With The PDF Maker, you can fully automate this process — and even improve the formatting:
Every new form response automatically triggers PDF generation — no manual action required.
You can fully customize the layout — clean, brand-friendly, and easier to read than default print views.
The PDF is automatically saved in a file column on your board, making it easy to track and share.
If this feature was saving you time before, The PDF Maker might be an even smoother solution now.
