There is currently no way to do this in base monday. Desiree has a great solution using monday AI. See below. If there is not an app that does that (and I don’t think there is), you will need to use the API in conjunction with something like Make.com or Zappier to check the item’s creation time and send a notification when an item is created.

You can use an automation and the ‘hour’ column to set that column to the hour it was created. Then use AI to categorize by ‘timeframe’ created?

@dmccarthy22710 Great catch Desiree!
Thanks Jim. Depending on the number of items created, might not be the best solution but it’s definitely an option.
Hi irena,
We can implement this for you via a custom Monday.com app.
The app will detect when an item is created between 20:00 and 08:00 and automatically send notifications to the relevant person or team — no third-party tool required.
If you’d like, we can share a quick outline of how it will work along with an estimated timeline.
Best regards,
thanks! i will try it out!
