I have a similar need as Dmytro. I wonder if you are taking any steps to extend the subitems API with mutations that enable changing the parent of the subitems? I know there is a workaround but it requires some additional logic on our side which we would like to avoid.

This is not possible yet and I do not have an ETA on when it could be implemented.
You can check our changelog and announcements section to be informed about changes in our API
