Column dependent

I’ve created a board for practice visit requests. My ideal thought is that I have a column with the regions of our practices and then the column after that would be a list of practices that come up for that region. i.e. I select Central Coast region, I want the second column to automatically populate all the practices within that region to select from. Is this possible with an automation, formula, etc?

You could achieve this by using a status column and a formula column. The status labels would align with each of the practice regions, and then based on the formula you’ve set up, the formula would then output each practice.

It could look something like this:


Another alternative would require you to create a board that simply lists each region and the associated practice - almost just as a practice management/tracking board:

Once that’s created, you can set up a seperate board for your visit requests, and all you’d need to do is add a connect board column + mirror column to your visit request board so that as each request comes in you can simply select the relevant connected item from your practice management (in this case, relevant region) and the practice will appear:

@BiancaT Thanks for responding. I tried doing the formula that you requested, but it doesn’t seem to work. Here is what my board looks like and how I did the formula. Maybe I did it wrong?
