Adding column in a board that is populated off of the Board name for automations in other board

We track multiple project that contain the same tasks for completion. I have it set up where each location has their own board named after its location. Each location’s board contains identical tasks that are created from a template after a specific status is selected. I need a way for the board name to be automatically populated into a column for every task so that when it get assigned to different team members I can use that specific identifier to be used for the task instead of having to enter in the locations identifier in front of every task after the board is created.

I have notifications set up to say “{board name} has begun construction…” and figured that a similar formula could “look up” board the name and insert it into a column that I can hide, but also house the information needed to send to other boards.

Thanks!

Hi there,
I am not sure if you have figured out the answer on your own since you posted this almost 2 years ago, but I have a solution that works for me: You can open a connect board column and connect each item to the board that you are currently on, and then add a mirror column that shows the “Board”.
I hope this helps.
