Column Copy/Fill, Board Name

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to copy/fill a column in a board similar to what you can do in Excel? Or maybe a formula that can get the board name and place it in a column for every item on the board?

My goal is to create a template board with all of the tasks that are required to complete a project. The tasks will be the same for each project that uses this template, but the project name will be different. These boards will be connected to a single board to schedule tasks. Since the item names are the same, I need a way to identify which project board the task is coming from.

Has anyone had any experience with something like this or have any ideas on a way to accomplish this?

Best regards!

Hi @BC1 - Welcome to the community! You can easily fill all of the columns on a board (up to several hundred at a time) with Batch Actions. It will only take a few moments for you to set the project name field when using your template to launch a new project.
