Connect CRM deals to account, not contact.

Please provide an option to connect deals to accounts, not contacts. Contacts come and go, but our accounts/clients stay consistent. While I can understand having multiple deals with an account and that scenario meaning that separating deals by contact could make sense. However, it’s not always relevant to have a deal tied to a specific contact. We often have deals that involve 2-3 contacts that need to be equally tied to the deal. It would be more useful for us to just connect that deal to the account, rather than a contact. It shouldn’t be too difficult to offer both options.

Agree 100%. I was actually very surprised that deals are not linked to accounts first because, as you say, contacts come and go. This would help me a lot in making the system more useful.

You can do exactly that btw… Bust create a connect Boards column connecting Deals directly to contacts and remove the connect Boards column from Accounts.

I also never understood why Monday chose to go with Deals being connected to contacts
