I have a little issue I can’t seem to find a fix for.
I have a board, an item populates, say event 1. I have triggered an email to the client of Event 1, using a status column, that has the client fill out a form, helping me gather all the details of the Event 1.
When the client submits their form, it creates a NEW item (and thus a new Event2) and does not connect to the original Event1. Is there a work around or something that I could use that connects the form answers to the original Event1?
I need this very scenario, and just posted a similar question to the group. After seeing the Docgen demo, I feel like there should be a way to divert the response form to the line item, but I haven’t figured it out yet.

This can be used to link Item 2 to Item 1. You can do it by adding a Connected Board Column and pre-populating the form sent by creating Item 1 with that same item.
We developed an app called Google Forms Integration Plus that allows connecting Google Forms to monday.com. Google Forms is a free to use and super powerful and the app offers some advanced capabilities that are missing in monday’s forms.
