Currently when selecting who to assign to a people column it either has a drop down/search list of all the people with access to that board, in some cases is everyone on your account. Or the most recent person/people you assigned to a people column.
But there would be a use to choose your favourite repeat people to be at the top regardless of how recently you assigned them to the people column.
