I’d love to see monday.com support a native feature that allows a People column on one board to automatically sync with a mirrored People column from another board.
Currently, mirrored columns are read-only and can’t be used in automations or formulas unless you use third-party apps like Formula PRO or Smart Mirror. This limitation makes it difficult to build scalable workflows where team assignments need to be reflected across multiple boards.
A native solution would:
Reduce reliance on external apps
Enable more powerful automations
Improve cross-board visibility and collaboration
This feature would be especially useful for teams managing long-term or recurring tasks across multiple boards, where maintaining consistent assignee data is critical.

What are you trying to achieve
I want to build a workflow where a native People column on one board automatically reflects the value of a mirrored People column from another board. This would allow me to assign team members in one central board and have those assignments seamlessly sync across multiple connected boards—without relying on third-party apps or manual updates.
This functionality would be especially useful for long-term or recurring task structures, where maintaining consistent assignee data across boards is essential for visibility, accountability, and automation.
