I wanted to make an automation where when the status changes a new item is created in another board with same columns
But when I do so I see no column called sub items to also create subtasks and I have to do it manually everytime. How can I automate this too?

I just built a couple of boards to test this for myself and you’re right - that recipe won’t pull subitems through with the item. It’s possible to create sub tasks when creating a new item in another board, however you may have to incorporate the use of Make.com (formerly Integromat), a third-party integration. With Make, you can set up an automation to create items and their subitems in another board when a status changes. The only drawback is that you require a paid plan that is required for multiple actions, however it should work as per your requirement.
