The lack luster gantt widget is really disappointing from a “project management” software. This is a staple for several PM methodologies. The fact that the export to PDF doesn’t do the simplest thing of printing the dependencies is insane. Reading through the previous forums on the topic also makes it seem like Monday.com doesn’t really care either. The ability to customize/add/remove columns on display to the left of the chart is another feature that this is sorely lacking. I have a %complete column that doesn’t even display as a percentage. For example - if I have a task as 33% complete, it displays at the end of the gantt bar as “33”. If Monday would just add the ability to display dependencies on export; it would already be an improvement - then further expand the gantt capabilities from there. The “add-on” app monday is marketing is just gouging for something that should be part of the standard offering. 90% of us have microsoft projects/excel on our desktop, but the objective of having access to a platform like monday is to keep everything together and increase ease of access/process. It borderline makes using the timeline functions of monday pointless if I am still having to create a gantt in another platform.
