create an automation that duplicates a subitem a specific number of times based on its status. (e.g., if the status is set to 5, it duplicates 5 times)
You can accomplish this but you’d have to create an automation for every option.
See below for example recipe:
When Status changes to 5

Hope this helps and happy building!

Hi.
Any updates on how to do this automatically?
I have to dynamically do this because It can get up to 36 subitems, or 44 subitems
Hi @Yogesh_Ingole, @sergeybrocardkevan
If you’re open to 3rd party apps, you can use our Subitems Pro Automations app to achieve that. It includes recipe for creating a subitem specific number of times:

Hey there @Yogesh_Ingole ,
I’m thrilled to inform you that we have an improved version of that automation in the Subitem Automations app!
Instead of using a Numbers column, you can use a Text column to write the names of the subitems that you want to automatically create (separated by a comma).
Alternatively, you can also use a Dropdown column for the subitem names!
Hope this helps! You can email me anytime at kevin@fantasymedia.io if you have any further questions or if you need help setting up Subitem Automations!
Cheers!
