I am trying to duplicate a group (which we use as a template) and move it into a new board. This particular group is a task list which we need it to be in a certain order. When duplicate the template and move it into a new board, the order get all jumbled up. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

This is definitely odd behavior! So, to confirm, if you had Items 1, 2, 3, and 4 in that order and you duplicate and move them, they become out of order like, for example, Items 3, 4, 1, 2?
Are you combining this group of items into another group in the new board? Or are they being moved to their own new group with no other items?
I imagine that they probably can’t be combined with other items without losing their order. Perhaps they are being ordered by oldest to newest.
I’d love to learn a little more about what you see in the new board (a screenshot would be wonderful) so I can help figure this out!
