To get the top level reports I need, I need to keep all boards active. Because of that I have way to many boards to move and organize.

  1. I would love to have a way to make the boards put in alphabetical order by click of a button in the edit icon.
  2. I would like a move feature where I can move a board to another folder. I know you can drag and drop, but the list is long and doesn’t function smoothly.

The Folder Levels (Sub Folders) would fall under Folder Organization too.

Thanks for sharing :slight_smile: we’ll take the sorting idea to the product team responsible for the left-pane. Regarding the ability to move boards to another folder, this is already possible by right clicking on a board. Let us know if you don’t find that option!

Thank you, I did find the Move option. Being able to sort will be even more helpful.

I think this is important too - to sort workspaces and widgets by board name - alphabetically.

+1 on sorting Folders and Boards alphabetically. Would be a very useful feature!!!

The ability to sort boards in a folder is a very basic, but important need.

+1 for visibility. This would be a great, simple feature to have.

I have just introduced some new users to a Monday.com Workspace that utilises folders.

This was the first feature they asked for.

Something like … folder menu, Sort By > then perhaps Alphabetical, Date Created, Don’t Sort

@Julia-monday.com Could you please advise if there is an ETA on this feature? I can see this was initially raised in May '19. This seems like quite basic functionality which is why its odd that a company like Monday.com have missed it. Using and creating boards everyday this feature would be really useful. Also if the board once added could be automatically sorted by the last selected sort that would be great!

Please do advise if there is any timeline for this feature.
