Formula column- Total for multiple groups on a board?

Hi community,

Does anyone know if it’s possible to calculate a total sum from multiple groups’ sub-totals within the same board?

To illustrate, see screenshot. I have several groups (two are collapsed), each with an Est. subtotal.

What I would like is a grand total that combines the subtotal from each of the groups on this board?

Is it possible to automate this somehow? I started playing around with mirroring, but unsure if this is the right solution.

Appreciate help with this - it’s really bugging me! This would be highly useful, so I am imagining it is possible, but it’s not clear how.

Thanks!

Agreed. This is a major issue that has limited the utility on a budget tracking board I am using…

Hi Everyone!

We do have a feature in monday.labs that will allow you to add a board summary - this will summarise the data across all of the groups in a footer at the bottom of the board.
To add this, first select your profile picture / initials in the bottom left hand corner and then select monday.labs from the menu that appears:

You’ll then find the following feature available in the pop up menu:

You should see a blue button to active the feature (this is not shown in the screenshot as I currently have this active on my account).
You can then refresh the page, and you should be able to see a summary of the board, like so:

I hope this helps!

Best,

Dani
