I work for a large organization where many employees are not users of Monday, but we need to share information in a calendar format for them. I’ve make the calendar shareable with full permissions access, but none of my guests are able to click into the calendar items to see the information connected to the item name. Is there a way around this that doesn’t include an integration of some kind?
I’ll add that I have no mirror columns. The columns are links to various information that is housed in Monday are part of project planning, copied from a public board using an automation. Monday users have no issues accessing this, only guest users without a Monday license.
I can think of 2 ways to achieve this - we have tried both with good success
Assign Viewer licenses for everyone in the organisation. I realise this is a big lift to get all existing employees on Monday especially as there is no bulk add, but it should be do-able operationally for new users as part of your onboarding processes. Even easier if you have SSO.
Integrate the calendar with a dedicated Outlook account and make this calendar visible to everyone in the organisation. You can set the integration to include the items on the Monday calendar which you want to display. It does not provide interaction or edit rights.
I have a similar requirement so would be interested in any other solutions
