Currently, column width in Gantt View is fixed. For the name of the Groups and Items, this is specially bad because they get truncated in the screen and when a PDF is generated. This causes confusion if there are many items which start with the same name or if someone is not used to the activity.
Please, allow modification of column width, at least the one that holds items and groups names.
100% agreed, this is killing me too. I can’t use the Gantt or Timeline views for my application because I’m trying to aggregate timeline information from 20+ boards that all have a long common name prefix.
Board name: “Long Prefix Here - Project Name”
All the Gantt/Timeline views show are “Long Prefix Here -” and the name of the project gets cut off.

I agree the Item Name column needs to be a user adjustable width.
This seems to me a very basic request so I am surprised that after so long there is no implementation. We need to see the entire item otherwise it is useless. We can’t send it incomplete. The width of these columns needs to adjust just like an excel sheet.
