There has been a recent monday update that has changed the way the gantt timeline is shown…its now twice the height of the item label text. I’m told this is not adjustable and will not be reverted back.
Problem with this is - i now have half the amount of viewable timelines on my chart. This makes it harder to see conflicts etc.
As far as i can tell i cant see any reason to make these timelines thicker, and it certainly doesnt improve workflow.
I would like this reverted, or at least give the user the ability to choose how the timelines appear.
I agree. It’s really annoying. I usually take screen shots of our project plans to include in weekly client decks and these used to always fit onto one page but now I can’t do that because the text is too small. It also generally looks off-balance.

Sometimes upgrades turn out to be downgrades, and this one seems to be a step backwards. It would be so helpful to have the option to reduce the gantt bar height, and I sure hope it’s sooner than later. Otherwise I’ll need to buy a larger monitor.

It has made the Gantt view completely unusable for my recent weekly status updates. Poor design choice.
