Give the "What's New" section its own page?

As the primary user in my company of Monday.com., I like to keep on top of all updates and releases, but having the “What’s New” section as a tiny pop-up in the bottom corner of the page is a real pain to read, and I can’t share that update with people. Not to mention I feel sorry for the people who have to create the gifs that go with it to have to make them so tiny! Any chance that they can get their own page?

Agreed! It’s way to small. I’m also surprised the announcements aren’t clickable to the support article.

When there’s one I think our team will use and benefit from I take screenshot of that pop-out and send it all to them. It would be great to be able to have the article link to send them at the same time.

Yes, I’ve always found that puzzling too. My first instinct is to click for more information in a full browser window.

As Krishele says, I’d also love to have a simple way of sharing some updates with our team. They ignore the red “What’s New?” dot in the corner of their screen, or don’t know what it’s for.

My workaround is to take a screenshot and share that with them via a monday update ironically enough.

I completely agree. I have mentioned this improvement many times, it is way too small. And if I needed to know more, there was no link. I hope that they improve this!

Definitely we need a whole page for “What’s New”. that would be awesome because sometimes is really painfull to read a tiny pop up.

First off, all you peeps who like this idea should vote for it at the top left, don’t just “me too.”

And yeah, me too! The “What’s New” feature is important for those of us who use Monday intimately, and it is ripe for a UX overhaul:

  • Larger/flexible size window (and/or: a link to view it on its own page separately from the main Monday UI)
  • A “more info” button/link for each article that takes you to something to help you continue learning about it (too often, I have to poke around all over the place to figure out where something lives)

I just did.

It should be noted that the forum voting system was only introduced in Nov 2019.

Now we’ve got it, time to use it so Monday support can quantitatively measure the level of support for each Feature Request.

Ah, thanks for that correction, John, I hadn’t been here recently enough to remember that voting wasn’t there before.

I agree that an actual web page is needed. I just spent about 25 minutes looking for one in the support area and then in the community and I came across this thread. I want to provide the updates to my team and I’m tired of the copy/paste job.

Agreed. I would like a what’s new page as well. I sometimes don’t notice new features until I accidentally stumble upon them. Even the what’s new little window doesn’t give us information about the cool small tweaks. Like did you know you can hover of the person icon and ask them a quick question or get more information about them?
