Giving status back to main board on item

Maybe someone can give a good tip.

I have one mail board with all my projects, I use this this for my budget.
I get the overview from the board via dasboard and widget.

When the status in the main board changed, another board is created for the project through automation.

Now I want that when I’m done with this board give an action back to the main board, is this possible and how?

So what I mean when you have done all the tasks of this board, can you give a message back to the main board and to the item?
