Hi!
I’m trying to set up an automation where I can move an item to another board (say, for ‘Review’). Which is all well and good and there is enough information to figure out. But what I can’t find is how to move that item BACK to it’s original board (And setting up the same automation doesn’t work, since the items are from separate boards), when the status is again changed (from ‘review’ to ‘working on it’)
Is there anything anyone can recommend to accomplish this?
Hello @fvnnel_jari ,
Welcome to the community !
You would need an additional identifier to know in which board the item needs to move back to.
That way, you would need to set up automations like this one:
Let me know if this helps!

Hi @fvnnel_jari ,
you can accomplish this by creating a automation ,when the status change to something (from ‘review’ to ‘working on it’) move item to the original board.
Hope its helpful for u.

Thanks, @GiannisKoukounas , But how do I create that ‘IF’ statement. I can’t find the option to be able to define the original board.
Is there an automation for setting the original board?
Is there a way to do this without creating a new item in the original board, but just “reactivating it” by changing the status there?
I am not 100% certain on what you mean, can you please explain further? Thanks!
How do you know what the original board was?
