Help with permissions and members

Hi,
We are new to monday and want to make the best of its great features.
We are currently on the pro plan, we are intrestead in addind one of our employees, the thing is we dont want him to view anything but one spsific board. so can we give accsess to one board alone and nothing else? and if so how?

You could add them as a Guest and then make this one board you want them to see into a Shareable Board! Guests only have access to Shareable Boards and only when they are invited to them.

You could make the board a Private Board and add this person as a regular member to the account but that means they will see also see any board in the account that hasn’t been made private.

Regarding your question, yes, you can easily control access to specific boards in Monday.com. Since you’re on the Pro plan, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to grant access to only one board for your new employee:

  1. Invite the Employee
  • Go to your Monday.com account
  • Click on your profile picture in the bottom left corner
  • Choose “Invite to Monday”
  • Enter your employee’s email address
  1. Set Board Permissions:
  • Navigate to the board you want to grant access to
  • Click on the board name in the upper left corner
  • Select “Share”
  • Add your new employee’s email
  • Customize the permissions to “View Only” for that specific employee

By following these steps, your employee will have access only to the designated board with view-only permissions. They won’t be able to view or interact with any other boards or data. Also, you may easily put your other boards to Private and only grant access to members that are needed.
