I have access to a Form (submission view) but cannot find the board that the form relates to or to which the results are going to. Please can anyone help advise me? Thanks!
Hey Alex! Shannon here with the monday team. I’d like to share a shortcut with you!
Right-click on your form, and from the dropdown menu, select “View Page Source.” From there, enter Ctrl + F (or Command + F, if you’re on a Mac device) to search for “board.” You are looking for “board_id”:
From there, you’ll enter your board ID after your account’s URL to pull up the form’s board. For example, this is my demo form’s board URL: monday.com: Where Teams Get Work Done.
Enter the board ID after “/boards/” in the URL. I hope this helps!
Hi Shannon,
Thanks for your response, much appreciated.
Apologies, I should perhaps have been clearer in my request… By Form I meant that I have a link to a form - there is no form icon to right click on, so I cannot do so to then select “View Page Source”…
Hey Alex! No problem at all. Perhaps I could have been a bit more clear!
The shortcut I’ve shared does not require you to utilize any icons. You just need the link to the form. With the form open, right-click directly on the page, like so:
A new tab will open in your web browser window, where you can search for “board” to find the “board_id.”
Hi Shannon,
This is great - thank you very much for clarifying. This makes perfect sense now and has really helped.
Of course, Alex. Happy to help!
