How many options can be added for a Single Select Question on a Form?

Is there a limit to the number of options that can be added for this Form Question?
It seems like there is. I need to add a listing of “locations” a Form question and it appears that I can only add so many choices.
Please let me know.

At this time, the option limit is set up 40. Did you have over 40 choices set up?

The Single Select (Status) column is limited to a total of 40 options, but the Dropdown column is supports up to to 500 options. Our app Easyform allows you turn the Dropdown column to a single select in forms, see here for example:

I have hundreds to set up. Client wants a “dropdown” on the form for the user to be able to choose from multiple locations.

Thanks for your reply! I am afraid because the single select option aligns with our status column, the limit is set at 40. If the only option is single select, as Nachliel has mentioned, it might be that an external app is the solution here due to the platform limitation - I apologise for the setback :pray: I can see you’ve posted this as a feature request which is a great start to increase visibility amongst the community! Thank you in advance for your understanding!

We need this for 50 states in a drop down option in the form. Adding 10 more to the option limit sound in the realm of possibility?

Hi, will this be changed? Is there another page to vote? Can’t seem to find any other thread on this SUPER IMPORTANT feature. I need to list all my employees names so that they can selected their name in a dropdown menu in one question, that means more than 100 employees that I need to list. I do not want to let them write their name, as their is a possibility of typing errror.
