Improvements to adding multiple people the people column

When adding people you can only do one at a time and have to keep re-clicking the add button to add more people, and this can get rather tedious when adding 15+ people to it as we often do in our work flow. It does not help that only the last 3 used users are displayed in the drop down list, meaning searching is frequent.

And the add should have a full truncated list that you can just check people in one go.

I’ve always felt like it should be a little scroll bar rather than showing 3 users. Maybe adding a little check box next to each one would help when selecting multiple users?
